Some of my favorite Rekha films are :Ijaazat - plays a patient wife to naseerudin shah; beautful songs like 'katra katra', mera kuch samaan' and 'kali haath shaam ayi hai'
Umrao jaan - one of her most famous films
Silsila - Set a style statement which her look. this film that also was said to portray her affair with Amitabh B. be from real life to reel life.
Khubsoorat - A fun film where she played Manju and goes to visit her sister's 'sasural' and how she changed a stricly disciplined home to a fun-loving environment; my favorite film
Agar tum na hote costarring Rajesh Khanna and Raj Babbar who plays her husband and a photographer who becomes disabled.
Muqaddar ka sikandar -Zohrabai; she enacted the role of a courtesan many times and was convincing everytime.
Baseraa - a story about two sisters (Rekha and Rakhee) who love each other immensely and how circumstances lead them both to be married to the same man (shashi kapoor). this one makes me cry everytime.
Ghar Vinod Mehra playes her husband (who she might havealso been married to secretly for a short while).
